Haymount Family Dentistry: A One-of-a-Kind Dental Office

Our office has a unique setting in a 100-year-old, colonial-style home, which creates a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. Our waiting room is a large parlor that includes a beautiful fireplace and plenty of large windows, providing a warm and comfortable environment. The foyer, front hall and waiting areas also have unusual, one-inch hardwood floors, along with nine-foot ceilings and elaborate crown moldings.

Mr. W. W. Horne built the house in 1917, and it remained in the Horne family until Dr. Clarence Olive purchased it in the early 1960s to use as a dental office. Dr. Taylor became the third generation of dentists when he took over the Fayetteville dental practice in 1991, following in the footsteps of Dr. Clarence Olive and his father, Dr. Robert Olive.

In 2005, Haymount Family Dentistry undertook a major renovation of the building’s interior and equipment. The floor plan was modified to greatly improve traffic flow and add separate rooms for sterilization and X-rays. All of our operatories were completely renewed with new aseptic cabinets, patient chairs and equipment. We have recently completed an exterior renovation, which has the office looking its very best once again! Our plans for the future include a project for a new parking lot directly behind the building with improved handicap access and a redevelopment of the back part of the property.
