Dr. James Taylor

I am Dr. James Taylor, a Fayetteville native and second-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of my father, Dr. Robert Taylor. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill in 1991, I returned home and went into practice with Dr. Clarence Olive.

For the past 30 years, I have truly loved working with my patients and staff here at Haymount Family Dentistry. I take great pleasure in helping my patients with both their dental health and the appearance of their teeth. Nothing makes my day more enjoyable than seeing a beautiful smile from a happy patient!

It is a blessing to be married to my wife of 25 years, Ashley, and we stay busy raising our two teenage daughters, Hannah and Grace. When away from the office, my family enjoys several hobbies, including sailing and horseback riding.

Dr. Taylor is also a member of several professional and social associations including the Greater Fayetteville Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Society, as well as the Exchange Club and the Piedmont Aeromodelers .

Marie

Hello, I’m Marie, a Fayetteville native with more than 35 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist. I am a longtime fixture in the office, having worked here for more than 35 years, and am an expert at making patients feel at ease. I thoroughly love the opportunity to help our patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile! Along with my husband, Alex, I have a son, James, and a daughter, Tyler. I feel that it is a true privilege to serve the patients here at Haymount Family Dentistry.

Kimberly

Hello, I’m Kimberly, and I am a registered dental hygienist with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I started my career in dentistry as a certified dental assistant here at Haymount Family Dentistry in 2002. I returned to school and became a hygienist in 2006, and was thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Haymount Family Dentistry shortly after graduation. My education has afforded me the occasional opportunity of practice in a dual role as an assistant and hygienist.
Here at Haymount Family Dentistry, the environment is friendly and family-oriented, which allows me the pleasure of interacting with lots of different people on a daily basis, while brightening the smiles of hundreds of patients. I am a Fayetteville native and am married to my wonderful husband Chris. I currently spend most of my time away from the office raising a very busy two-year-old son, Colton.

Vickie

My name is Virginia, but everyone knows me as Vickie. I have been a part of Haymount Family Dentistry since graduating from FTCC as a certified dental assistant. After 18 years here, I like to consider myself Dr. Taylor’s right-hand girl, and my goal is to make our patients’ visits as comfortable and friendly as possible. I am a Fayetteville native, and I also lived in Las Vegas for a brief time. I have enjoyed raising my four children in my hometown, and love gardening and spending time with family and friends when I’m away from the office.

Pam

My name is Pam, and having joined Haymount Family Dentistry in 2011.  I bring to the practice more than 25 years of dental office experience, most of which were with Dr. Taylor’s father. I am the voice you will usually hear on the phone, and I coordinate the scheduling as well as handling all of the insurance claims. I love working with this hometown dental practice, as I like to call it. My husband and I have lived in Fayetteville most of our lives, and have two grown children and three grandchildren.

Sheila

Sheila is another veteran of my father’s office. Since joining our practice in 2018, she has brought a wealth of expertise and knowledge to our practice. Her can do attitude and attention to detail have greatly enhanced our hygiene department.

Bobby

My name is Bobby, and I am a dental laboratory tech, as well as the owner of Cumberland Labs, operating out of Haymount Family Dentistry. I learned the art of making crowns and bridges from my stepfather, who started the business. I became a certified dental technician in 1975, and I enjoy having the ability to meet the patients, as it provides an unparalleled opportunity to get even the most difficult cases just right. My other interests include fishing and writing music.
